Bewal Classes is a premier coaching institute for banking and insurance competitive exams in India, established in 2015. It evolved from an association with GOBS (Group of Bankers), founded in 2008, to provide comprehensive preparation for written exams.
The institute boasts an impressive selection rate, with over 12,500 students successfully placed in the banking and insurance sectors after completing Bewal Classes' written exam and interview coaching.
Bewal Classes offers a full spectrum of training programs, available both offline and online, designed to prepare students for Bank and Insurance PO (Probationary Officer) / Clerical Examinations, including those conducted by IBPS CWE and SBI.
Beyond exam preparation, Bewal Classes is also a leading name in interview coaching. They prepare candidates for interviews across a wide array of organizations such as SBI, IBPS, RRB, RBI, NABARD, and various Insurance Sector Companies. Their interview programs have recently expanded to include preparation for roles like professors, section officers (FCI and IB), and other positions with interviews conducted by RPSC and UPSC.

History
The Group of Bankers (GOBS) was founded in 2008 by veteran banker Mr. B.L. Bewal and his team. Their initial mission was to provide interview preparation and coaching for students aiming for careers in a variety of sectors, including Banking, Insurance, SSC, CPO, and various RPSC positions. GOBS quickly established itself as a reputable name in this specialized field.
Expanding Horizons: Courses and Certifications
GOBS has significantly broadened its educational offerings to include a range of Certificate and Diploma Courses in Banking. These programs cover essential areas such as General Banking, Retail Banking and Consumer Loans, International Banking, Trade Finance, and Advanced Credit Courses.
Furthermore, GOBS provides dedicated coaching for prestigious professional banking certifications like JAIIB, CAIIB, and DBF (Diploma in Banking and Finance), all administered by the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance. We're proud to say that GOBS has played a crucial role in shaping the careers of numerous professionals now thriving in commercial banks, Regional Rural Banks, RBI (Grade B), private banks, SSC, RPSC, and the insurance sector. Our services have recently expanded to specifically cater to the preparation needs for the JAIIB and CAIIB exams.
In 2015, GOBS launched Bewal Classes as an associate entity. This strategic move was aimed at offering comprehensive, one-stop solutions for students preparing for written examinations, with a primary focus on Bank PO/SO, RBI Grade B officers, and positions within the Insurance sector. About Our expert
Mr. B.L. Bewal, an MA in English and CAIIB qualified professional, has a distinguished career spanning over four decades in the banking sector.
He began his journey with SBBJ in 1968, where he dedicated 33 years, serving in various capacities. He voluntarily retired as a Deputy General Manager in March 2001. Following this, he joined IndusInd Bank, serving as the Regional Head for Rajasthan until March 2008. During his extensive tenure, Mr. Bewal achieved significant milestones, particularly in the areas of Forex, Credit, and NRI business.
After seven years at IndusInd Bank, Mr. Bewal retired and subsequently founded the Group of Bankers (GOBS). His primary objective in forming GOBS was to impart his vast banking experience and knowledge to the new generation of aspiring bankers.
Beyond GOBS, Mr. Bewal has also shared his expertise as an educator, associating with institutions like Poornima University, Jagan Institute of Management, and Amity University, where he conducted Banking and Insurance classes for MBA students. Furthermore, he has provided valuable training to bankers through various programs at different bank training centers.
About Piyush Bewal Sir (Director)
Piyush Bewal currently serves as the Director of Bewal Classes, where he is a key faculty member specializing in Banking, Finance, Security Markets, and Basic Economics. He also plays a crucial role as a mentor for career counseling and personality development. With an extensive 28 years of teaching experience across various subjects, Piyush brings a wealth of knowledge to his students. Additionally, he has been associated with Poornima University as a guest faculty for Banking and Finance subjects for both postgraduate and undergraduate classes since December 2022.
Academic Background & Professional Evolution
Academically, Piyush holds a science degree and possesses various computer science diploma courses. He began his career in 1996 as a computer science faculty member and engineer.
In 2006, he transitioned into the Capital Market field, where he completed four modules of NCFM (NSE's Certificate in Financial Management). He regularly renews these certifications every three years through the NISM (National Institute of Securities Markets) training programs, ensuring his knowledge remains current.
Piyush has been a SEBI Registered Authorized Person since 2006, demonstrating his extensive experience in the capital market as a sub-broker. Furthermore, he has been operating as a Mutual Fund Sub-broker since 2018, further solidifying his expertise in financial services.
